The Color of Energy
Posted: June 22, 2011 Filed under: Uncategorized Leave a comment »We can become so intertwined in the energy of people and situations
around us, we do not know our own energy field. Here is how it works.
We become comfortable with familiar energies that surround us
throughout our lifetime. These are energy fields of family members,
close friends, and the energy of the home we live in and every person and
everything around us. Are you beginning to see the importance of our
relationships and our surroundings? We settle into a specific energy
field without even realizing it. For example, if a child is raised in a
household of negativity or dysfunction, he or she will tend to settle
into that energy groove and he or she will take it as his or her own.
This will then affect his or her life in a way that will perpetuate the
cycle of dysfunctional living. Taking on this negative energy feels
natural, when in fact it is not the child’s own energy, but the energy
of those that surround them. Everyone and everything we come in contact
with affects our own energy field. Continuously being exposed to the
energy of others is going to shift our own energy and we do not
realize it. If we became aware of the influence that energy around us
has its own energy we can separate it from our own and our truest
energy will emerge. If we can differentiate and separate our own
energy field from those of another or even the energy field of
situations or external environments, we could control the effect it has
on our lives. We could identify and remove the negative aspect from our
own field.
The first step is to learn how to discern the energy of yourself from
the energy of individuals and situations around you. Without the
ability to separate energies, we are unable to find our true identity.
This process is essential to your spiritual growth and critical in
assisting you to discover your life’s purpose, since our energy fields
are continuously intertwined, (and need to be) it can sometimes become
more difficult to unravel than it first appears. Assigning a color to different energetic frequency can help you differentiate and separate.
Identifying energy fields with color:
I find this extremely helpful. It gives us a concrete method to
identify different types of energies and helps to label them as well. All things
are easier to understand when they are color codes.
You should learn these color codes and consistently identify your
personal color throughout the day. By doing this you
must take a moment to focus while in your mind go through the color wheel. Your subconscious mind
will automatically stop at the color your energy field is at the
present time. You may be surprised at what color you stop at. This indicates
that you are not in tune with your own energy. This can happen to many of
us, so never change the color to what your conscious mind tells you your
energy are. Stick with the color you have picked and try to understand
where the disconnection between your conscious and your energy field
occurred. For example, you may be drawn to lemon yellow, the color of power
struggles. This tells you there is some kind of conflict within your energy and
someone around you. Somehow, you feel like Gold today, try to look at
what is going on, and you may have just been belittled because your
boss asked you to pick up his dry cleaning! Your subconscious has just
alerted you to an interference of your own energy field that your
conscious mind did not pick up. The use of identifying your
energy in the form of a color is extremely effective. You will begin
to see patterns emerge. For example, each morning you will find that
on most days you can identify with a certain colored energy. Once you
begin to identify your patterns, you begin to build your own energetic
identity and you will know when someone or something interferes with
it. Severe or even subtle changes in your environment will change the color
of your energy. If you find that the change is not a comfortable or
pleasant one, then remove the element that you feel shifted your energy
in the first place. If you feel it has changed your color to a more
productive or pleasant one, by all means identify the element of your life that has
recently been introduced and hold onto it! Since energies transform and
meld together, how do we identify our own energy and keep it separate
from others? It is impossible to keep it 100% separate since we are
all connected, but if you learn to identify your energy
fields you will develop an awareness of when it is being transformed
or melded with someone else’s. This awareness will allow you to not soak
up the negative energy like a sponge.
Let’s go through the colors of energy:
Red: creates the most friction. Friction attracts or repels,
obsessions; anger or hostility; anxiety or nervousness. Think of
the expression seeing red. In a good, bright and pure state, red energy can serve as a
healthy ego.
Pink-bright and light: Loving, tender, sensitive, sensual, artistic,
affection, purity, compassion; new or reviewed romantic relationship.
Dark and murky pink: Immature and/or dishonest nature.
Orange Red: Confidence, creative power.
Orange Aura: The color of vitality, vigor, good health and
excitement. Lots of energy and stamina, creative, productive,
adventurous, courageous, outgoing social nature; currently experiencing
stress related to appetites and addictions;
Orange-Yellow: Creative, intelligent, detail oriented, perfectionist,
scientific: Relates to the spleen and life energy. It is the
color of awakening, inspiration, intelligence and action shared,
creative, playful, optimistic, easy-going.
Light or pale yellow: Emerging psychic and spiritual awareness;
optimism and hopefulness; positive excitement about new ideas.
Lemon-yellow: Struggling to maintain power and control in a personal
or business relationship; fear of losing control, prestige, respect,
and/or power.
Clear gold metallic, shiny and bright: Spiritual energy and power
activated and awakened; an inspired person.
Dark brownish yellow or gold: A student or one who is straining at
studying; fatigued or stressed; trying to make up for “lost time” by
learning everything all at once.
Green: Growth, nature, healthy, most likely a person going through a
spiritual growth spurt. Remember growths sometimes comes with growing pains.
Bright emerald green: A healer, a person who is balanced and centered.
Dark or forest green: Jealousy, resentment, feeling like a victim of
the world; blaming self or others; insecurity and low self-esteem, perhaps
someone who blames others.
Turquoise: Sensitive, compassionate, a healer, someone who has a
therapeutic vibration.
Blue: Cool, calm, and collected. Caring, loving, love to help others,
sensitive, intuitive and empathetic.
Soft blue: Peacefulness, clarity and communication; truthful; intuitive.
Bright royal blue: Clairvoyant gifts; highly spiritual nature; generous; on
the right path; someone on the verge of a breakthrough in their life.
Dark or muddy blue: Fear of self-expression or someone who does not
speak their truth due to fear.
Indigo: Relates to the third eye. Intuitive, sensitive, deep feeling and psychic.
Violet: The most sensitive and of colors. A person who is of the higher realms and a highly evolved spirit.
Lavender: Imagination, daydreamer, this person can be an angel incarnate.
Silver: Abundance, both spiritual and physical. Lots of bright silver
can reflect plenty of money.
Bright metallic silver: This person is looking for new concepts. They
will listen to your ideas. Intuitive; nurturing
Dark and muddy gray: A potential for health problems, especially if
gray spots seen in specific areas of the body
Gold: The color of enlightenment and divine protection. This person is
being guided by beings on a high plane of awareness. Divine guidance.
protection, wisdom, inner knowledge from a higher source.
Black: An energy drain. This person will drain others of their positive
energies. They capture light and consume it. Black spots
a specific area of the body, indicate health problems; Possible
entities within a person’s aura, chakras, or body; past life hurts;
unreleased grief from abortions if it appears in the ovaries.
White : Reflects other energy. A pure state of light and Source Energy, higher dimensions.
White sparkles or flashes of white light: Angels are nearby; Can
indicate pregnancy or the birth of a special child.
Rainbows: Rainbow-colored beams coming off the body: A healer, or a
starperson (someone who is in the first incarnation on Earth).
Pastels: Blend of light and color, more so than basic colors. Shows a
sensitivity and a need for serenity and peace.
Dirty brown overlay: Holding on to energies. Insecure, unyielding and
withholding.
Dirty gray overlay: Blocked energies. This person holds
themselves back.
Once you are able to identify your own energy field with color, you will then move on to
identifying the energy of others. Many people do not realize this, but you are
learning the first step to developing your psychic abilities.
Raising your awareness is key. When someone walks into a room, begin to
notice subtle changes that occur within yourself. Pay attention to your own
reaction. You may feel lighter when this person enters your energy
field. You may suddenly feel agitated or get a feeling of anxiety.
Subtle body changes may also clue you in. Does your heart rate
increase?
Do you turn towards this person or turn away? Try to match the feelings
you get to a color. For example, if you feel a chill, this may
represent a blue energy. If you experience exhaustion or weakness, a black energy
person may have entered your field. These are clues as to how you
are responding to this new presence of energy that just entered your
own field. If you are tuned into your own reactions, this will
give you an indication of the type of energy this person is putting
into your environment. This is why we tend to mistake someone eles’s
energy field as our own. The energies of other people actually create
a physical and mental response of others around them. If your physical
reaction is not pleasant, then this indicates that this person will
more than likely not have a positive influence on your life that day.
Since energy is mutable it can change and transform, so this is not to
say this person has a permanent negative energy field. For today, it
is best to limit your interaction with this person. Constant exposure
to someone with dysfunctional energies will have a lasting effect on
your own life. Next, assign this person a color for the day. You may
notice the color changes and transforms as you spend time with this
person. Since we all meld, you may help to change this person’s energy.
If your energy is white, you may turn a red energy to a pink. This is a result of your own energy effecting theirs. This is the effect you have on others. As you learn to recognize individual’s
energy colors you will find discover much more about yourself. You may turn
many people grey! If you are finding this, it is time to
bathe yourself in silver or soft blue. This is why it is so important to differentiate and
separate: as individuals we all meld together.
What if you feel someone’s energy field has penetrated yours or perhaps
your energy has become a color that is not desirable to you. You can
change the color. We do this by washing away the old color and bathing
in a new color that will have a more positive effect on your life.
Taking color baths can be extremely effective in changing your energy
field and attracting what you want with a whole new energy. Since like attracts
like, you want to try to put out the energy of what you desire. When
you are consistently identifying your energy field as grey or brown, it is time to take a color bath. This is
going to wash clean the energies of either color and bathe you in a more
positive and desirable energy. The color will be of your choosing. Pick
a color that will attract the energy you desire. If you want to attract
romance, pick bright pink. If you want to develop your creative
abilities, choose orange. Go into a meditation and picture
yourself washing away the undesirable color. As you cleanse
the unwanted energies, and you are clean; envision the water
turning the shade of energy you desire. You can picture yourself in a
tranquil waterfall of pink to attract love or perhaps you will be in a
Grecian tub of indigo tint. Drink the water, and saturate yourself in
it. As you finish, become conscious of your breath as you meditate, and
picture yourself walking out of the water positively glowing of the
color. After your meditation, your energy field will then
be transformed to the color you desire. By focusing on the color of
your energy you can attract what you desire or even maintain optimal
health. Frequent color baths with cyclically cleanse your energy and
keep it rejuvenated and enlightened. There are also bath products you
can purchase to transform your bath water the desired color. You will begin to
know when you need to bathe your energy, as this will feel natural over
time. You will also look forward to your cleansing and find a significant change in your life
because of it! You will feel cleansed and
empowered more than ever before.

Feeling Lost?
Posted: June 14, 2011 Filed under: Uncategorized Leave a comment »Many of us feel empty, misplaced or adrift when we live day to day wondering why things happen as they do what the meaning of it all is. We search for our life purpose and constantly ask the universe, why am I here, what am I supposed to be doing. Is the purpose predestined or already planned out by God? Do we pick our own purpose? Are the events of your life all random and by chance? My answer is a little of all these. Life is a combination of plan, chance and destiny all rolled into one. One of my favorite sayings is “God creates the map and I choose the road.” In other words our Source creator sets us on a certain course with many situations that we can choose from. Different paths on the map will take us to different destinations and interactions with many diverse people. As we move along our course, we alter our own lives and the lives of those we intermingle with, always shifting our journey as we go along and the journey of others at the same time. It’s kind of mind boggling to think of the trillions of scenarios plotted out within the landscape of your life. But this is the adventure that is free will, never really knowing the destination or the outcome at the end of each road we take. It’s all part of the fluidity of life and the sooner we learn to flow with it the better off we are. Searching for your life purpose can feel like setting out on a road trip with no destination. Aimlessly driving and coming to dead ends, detours and pot holes. Life is never one smooth course and the irony is that these dead ends, detours and pot holes enrich our lives and accelerate our spiritual growth. If we learn our lessons well, they will give us a sturdier constitution and impart us many valuable lessons that will allow us (when divine timing intervenes) to finally understand that we truly do live a meaningful existence, by just being our authentic selves. Living your life purpose is living your life with high intentions and from a place of gratitude for all the bumps in the road. Being ever mindful that all is exactly as it should be and trusting that we all have a divine internal compass to help us on the roads we choose, so we can never truly be lost.
Universal Energy: Feeling the Affects?
Posted: June 11, 2011 Filed under: Blog Leave a comment »As we talked about in my last entry, absorbing excess negative energies can trigger many senstive people of into emotional or physical meltdown. These energies need not be in close proximity to you physically. There is a universal collective energy that affects us as well. Since we all occupy our part in the collective each and every day, we could find ourselves affected by global events. How does this happen, you ask? That there can be an earthquake in Japan, and you end up feeling irritated or anxious for days? The collective universal energy is always there even though we cannot see it, (you can’t see gravity, but you can still feel its affects). Basically, you can think of universal energy as as the common connection of the entire universe and we all hold a space within it. Look it this way, when one petal is harmed, the entire flower suffers, think of yourself as a petal on the flower that we call the universe.
Answer the following questions.
Are there times when you feel a sudden wave of sadness that seems to come out of nowhere?
Are you someone indulges in too many comfort foods?
Do you suffer from migraines or headaches frequently?
Are you prone to addictions?
Do you have panic attacks?
Are there times when you feel like you are not grounded in your physical environment?
Do you suffer mood swings?
Reactions to negative energies can cause physical and emotional stress. Symptoms include anxiety, nervousness, unwarranted or irrational fears, restlessness, headaches, dizziness, and even feelings of being detached from your body. These reactions could have absolutely nothing to do with what is happening in your life at the time of the onset and leave you wondering why you’re so emotional. The key to managing these symptoms is awareness. Learn your own personal symptoms and then figure out what triggers them. If you find you have a strong reaction to certain people, environments or even traumatic global events, you need to take precautions or make lifestyle changes in order to elevate some of your suffering.
Below is a list of general lifestyle tips that you may find useful in preventing stimulation overload:
* Engage in a daily exercise routine.
* Drink plenty of water.
* Avoid caffeine.
* Keep your personal environment as organized as possible.
* Remove any old or outdated items from your space that may harbor old or negative energies (remember universal energy is in everything).
* Avoid crowds whenever possible.
* Feel gratitude for how your gifts of hypersensitivity can serve others.
* Shield yourself when necessary.
* Engage in daily prayer for the greatest good of all humanity, prayer naturally brings in light energy.
Learning how to shield yourself
Shielding is a vital technique you should practice daily—not only when you sense you need it. (Think of it as an important prevention tool, like taking vitamins or brushing your teeth.) Shielding not only keeps you grounded but also prevents your energy field from absorbing the negative energies around you.
You can use a variety of techniques to shield yourself, but start with this relatively simple exercise. Later, you can change or adapt it, if you’d like.
* Picture yourself inside a bubble with a white light from your Higher Power above your head.
* Envision this white light encircling your entire body, including the bottom of your feet.
* Tell yourself that this bubble of light shields you from all of life’s anxieties, as well as troubles and dangers.
* Allow yourself to feel the strength of this protective white light, which is so strong that nothing can penetrate it—so nothing negative can touch you.
When you then encounter troubles as you go about your day, simply remember your protective bubble and the light-inducing emotions it engenders. This works well when you’re in a crowd of people and feel surrounded by negative energy, as well as if you’re in a conflict at home or work. Anytime you go to a party or other large gathering with lots of people and lots of stimulation, remember to shield yourself first. Shielding yourself before you get into a car (whether you’re driving or just a passenger) is also a good practice.

Highly Senstive or White Coat Syndrome?
Posted: June 10, 2011 Filed under: Uncategorized Leave a comment »
I had a very pleasant surprise today, which was totally unexpected. I was recently diagnosed with Lyme’s Disease and referred to a specialist. Having a lifelong fear of doctors I found myself in an unfamiliar waiting room, nervous and full of anxiety waiting to be seen by this new physician. Not knowing what to expect, I could see my hands shake as I handed over my insurance card to the receptionist. Needless to say, I made it into the examination room without fainting and after what seemed an eternity the new physician entered the room. He was pleasant, and welcoming, but still my anxiety was building. Was he going to tell me some dreadful news? Was he going to frighten me? Oh gosh, what is he going to say to me? All these questions went through my mind. Before he spoke, I felt compelled to tell him, I am a high anxiety patient, my way of saying, “go easy on me doc.” He suggested I come off the examination table and sit in a chair and we could just chat about my situation. I gladly came off what felt like a slab to me and sat in an arm chair beside him. After a rundown of my history and my family history, he asked me what my occupation was. I told him I ran a new age company and wrote a new age book. I also mentioned I counsel people on the phone lines. Embarrassed to say I was an advisor and here I was trying to hold it all together in his office. Then he looked at me and said something I have never heard a traditional medical doctor say. “Well, perhaps the anxiety you feel could be a result of absorbing the energies of the people you counsel?” Now he was talking my language! Although my anxiety was not because of the people I counsel, I knew it was my white coat syndrome, but I was so impressed with him and his openness to admit what many medical professionals want to deny. That we are energetic beings and our physical manifestations could possibly be energetic in origin.
At the present time there is an increase of HSP (highly sensitive persons) arriving on the planet. This is due to an energetic imbalance in the earth plane’s energy field. The veil is getting thinner and we are all becoming hyper sensitive to energies that are coming in from not only the collective of the planet, but the non-physical realms as well. Since we live in a multi-dimensional universe the HSP can become connected to energies that are unseen and when they are not aware of their hyper sensitivity this can bring on an avalanche of emotional meltdowns that seem to come out of nowhere. Anxiety has always been my reaction of choice, but it can be an assortment of disruptions in your life. Excess stimulation can cause physical and emotional stress. Symptoms include anxiety, nervousness, unwarranted or irrational fears, restlessness, headaches, dizziness, and even feelings of being detached from your body. Also addictions, mood swings, or even physical manifestations like auto immune diseases can all be undesirable affects of absorbing negative energies that hinder our wellbeing and make life very challenging.
But here’s the good news, these sensitivities are meant to be healing gifts. If we acknowledge that it is possible that many of life’s maladies are energetic in nature and a result of being HS we can identify our sensitivities and work with them resulting in heightened awareness and extra sensory perceptions, which will enhance our lives and the lives of those around us.
What situations make you feel overwhelmed? Make a list of any physical symptoms you have when exposed to various stimuli in the outside world. To help you make your list, think about the following questions:
* How do you respond to loud music?
* Will a loud noise make you jump?
* Does someone standing to close to you make you jump out of your skin?
* Does light really hurt your eyes?
* Are you easily overwhelmed?
* Do certain materials like wool really annoy you?
* Do other people tell you that you’re too sensitive?
* Does caffeine make you bounce off the walls more than most people?
* Do you panic in crowds?
* Do you feel bothered or extremely upset my violent movies or TV?
* When someone walks into a room, do you feel a shift in your mood?
* Do you dislike perfume or does cologne give you a headache?
* Do you suffer from food allergies or sensitivities?
* Do certain over-the-counter cold medications give you adverse reactions or have the opposite effect from what the bottle indicates?
If you answered yes to many of these questions you may be a HSP. It is important to be identify and be ever mindful of your chosen reaction to energetic stressors. In the next journal, we will discuss ways to shield yourself from outside energies and then turn your hyper sensitivity around to work for your own benefit and as always the greater good of all! And in case your wondering, the Doctor had good news for me, my Lyme’s discease was treated successfully and I can now enjoy the upcoming summer vaction without worry. Needless to say, I found my visit with my new doctor very pleasant and my white coat syndrome was eleviated, for now anyway.
Love and light,

What is Your Light Quotient?
Posted: June 9, 2011 Filed under: Uncategorized Leave a comment »Light: The sensation of perceiving light; brightness:
Quotient: The result of the division of one number or quantity by another:
Although we are all living a very physical existence, many of us fail to fully comprehend that our world is more metaphysical then physical. We are all energetic beings incased in a physical vessel that is simply just the vehicle for a portion of our soul’s journey. We are all energetic off shoots of the original expansion of the universe or the big bang. Like the saying goes, a twinkle in your father’s eye, our energetic selves are but a spark of our source creator. Source is comprised of energy and this divine frequency is what connects each and every one of us on the planet. Since this energy connects us all, we all play our part in the balance of Source energy.
Source energy itself is entirely neutral; comprised of light and dark energy and any shade of grey in between. The way we incorporate this energy into our lives is totally up to us, our free will. Light energy is what elevates our spirits. It uplifts and inspires us. As we inadvertently draw in darker energies into our individual energetic field through our state of being, we begin to feel weighed down, heavy, cold. These energies are actually tangible if you are mindful of what the effects can be. You can easily sense the effects emotionally, physically and spiritually if you keep your awareness level elevated. Now the question and theme of this entry is “What is your light quotient” how much of Source energy do you incorporate into your life that is on the lighter side of the spectrum? People who draw in darker energetic fields tend to become stagnant in their lives; they may experience depression and lethargy or any number of undesirable effects. It is as simple as the law of attraction.
Light energy is available to all of us, all we need to do in incorporate it into our lives on a conscious level. Incorporating more light energy into your life requires making conscious choices about our thoughts, intentions and general state of being. Since each thought and intention translates into energy we need to be ever mindful of so much more than our physical actions. Just as positive and loving thoughts (light energy) manifest positive and loving events in our lives, negative thoughts and emotions (dark energy) manifest unhappiness all within the natural flow of Source energy. Think of this as more cause and effect rather than divine retribution.
Now, to increase your light quotient, it is important to incorporate positive emotions and intentions into your daily routine. Finding that silver lining and always holding the belief that we are all loved and supported more then we can imagine should be a constant practice. Living in a state of gratitude (even when things don’t go our way) brings you an enormous amount of light. Being consciously aware of your general state of being is all you need to do. Here are some examples of responsive practices that will raise your light quotient.
Unconditional love
Forgiveness
Trust
Kindness
Tolerance
Faith
Drawing from emotions that raise your light quotient is simple. It is only a matter of using your free will to align with the light portion of Source energy. Getting off course occasionally is to be expected, but those who are ever mindful of thier own light quotient, not only enhance our own lives, but add to the light energy of the entire planet.
